The Newport Authority 2 album was inspired by politics & industry bullsh*t that prevented this material from being included on PA2: The Director's Cut. Shylow and I went in and created a separate album to hold people over until PA2 drops in July. Attached with Intro, interludes and fully mixed & mastered by Joe Nardone. With confidence I can say this is not a mix tape. It will also be available on vinyl LP via Fat Beats for the heads that appreciate physical product, because I still do. I've included songs I recorded with legends such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Tragedy Khadafi, Lil Fame and The Artifacts. But, I've also got joints on here with some talented up and comers such as First Division, MidaZ and Big Gutta. Plus the sh*t is free - so enjoy! -Marco Polo.

With the fifth and final leak before Marco Polo drops his highly-anticipated free-LP, Newport Authority 2, Marco states "I did a remix for "Stand Up" off the brand new Adrian Younge presents The Delfonics project (who am I big fan of, y'all should cop anything he's a part of.) Adrian sent me the album early and I made this beat. Tragedy was originally gonna lay down one verse on this on some freestyle sh*t, but once I started hearing his bars I refused to let this be a one verse song! Three verses later and appropriate hook by Slap aka Fizzy Womack aka Lil Fame we have the "Stand Up" remix. Tragedy will have an alternate version of this song on his upcoming album as well. Friday April 19th marks the three-year anniversary of the passing of Guru and this track, “G.U.R.U.” f/ Talib Kweli & DJ Premier is dedicated to his memory and a celebration of his life, legacy and all of the vast accomplishments and great music he and DJ Premier gave us. “G.U.R.U.” also serves as the lead-single from Marco Polo’s forthcoming LP, PA2: The Director’s Cut, which will be released in July 2013 on SoulSpazm Records.

Supastition – Yada Yada (Produced by Marco Polo)

After a long hiatus, Supastition returns with the Marco Polo produced, “Yada Yada”. The adrenaline-charged “Yada Yada” is the first single off of “The Blackboard EP,” which will be released on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 via Supastition's Bandcamp.

The Blackboard EP, a FREE 8-track project, serves as a “thank you” to the listeners who continued to support Supastition’s music after his sudden departure from the music business in 2010. Returning to the vintage Supastition sound, production on the EP will be handled by Marco Polo, M-Phazes, Veterano, Rik Marvel, and more.
